TS16 Rack

The TS16 Rack is used for all Multi Data Digital built communications equipment: TR6, TR7-X, TR7-G
The TS16 contains 16 card slots in two rows of 8 each. The rack can be used with redundant power supplies for 230 V AC or 48 V DC. Two power monitor cards allow a visible indication of available power and are responsible for the prevention of electrical backward feeding if one PSU is faulty. All cards for the TS16 rack system can be exchanged with the power applied to the rack and without interruption of operation of the other installed modems or converters. The power supply can also be exchanged without removing the power to the rack and without disturbance to the other installed modules. Both PSU´s are working in a load sharing configuration, so no switching from one PSU to the other will occur.

TS16/2 Rack

The TS16/2 (TS16-half) is used where the large rack cannot be installed or where no need for more than 8 card slots exists. The rack can be used with single power supplies for 230 V AC or 48 V DC.
